The second round of the Emerging Critics mentoring programme is now complete. Working in partnership with Creative Scotland, the Scottish Review of Books produced a 10 month course, through which sixteen aspiring critics were given the opportunity to access mentoring from some of Scotland’s leading critical journalists. We are delighted to have encouraged a new generation of critics who are skilled, professional, experimental, and able to bring a higher level of critical analysis to their reviewing.
New writing by a selection of the mentees is now available to read here.
